So, the randomness of the processing is always puzzling.| This is my personal opinion and is not to be construed as legal advice |

Yes, really thrilled about the I-140 outcome. It says the current processing date as 10/12/2020. Going by it, we should likely get to know our 140 outcome by 2nd week of Jan.Last edited by shiva_82; 10-11-2021, 10:39 PM.| This is my personal opinion and is not to be construed as legal advice |

I have an approved i-140 at LIN as well as a pending i-485. Due to a lawyer error we also submitted an i-485 to MSC (long story). Anyway...the i-485 at MSC just got transferred to a new office. I haven't received the letter yet to know which office it went to, but am hoping they put 2 and 2 together and realized it should go to LIN where my I-140 was approved...keep you posted.

I'm still waiting for my I140 approval from LIN and it's been 9+ months already. Would you be able to share in which EB category you I140 was filed and how long it took to get approved?| This is my personal opinion and is not to be construed as legal advice |

I'd expect it to go to LIN but considering your I140 is already approved, your 485 might have been sent to your field office. Either ways, there is some progress, so hopefully things get moving fast in your case soon. All the best.

I'm EB3-2 and now my LIN 485 is in RFE received status. The second filing 485 at MSC is the one that has been transferred and I'm still waiting on the letter to arrive.
Good luck to you as well. I'll post back with updates once I get the notice from MSC about the transfer.

The reason we filed a separate I485 at MSC was because the lawyer made a mistake on the first I140 filing (with I485) and had to refile in February. For whatever reason the second 485 went to MSC while the second (approved) I140 was in LIN.
