As far as I know, I have not seen a single GC application approved from NSC for the past few months. All the LIN based approvals are the ones which have been transferred to NBC, later NBC approves them. I even saw a few I-485 applications which were filed between Oct' 21 to Jan' 22 getting approved yesterday. Just can't comprehend what priority is followed or if even there is one. We are the unfortunate souls who've had our applications transferred and stuck at NSC. We just have to pray that our applications get back transferred to NBC and can await our approval in a couple of months. The trend for application back transfer is another black-hole - No one knows how that works or who gets picked. There seems to be absolutely no shimmer of light or hope!!!

    • still nothing.
USCIS gives I-485 employment-based processing time averages of 12 to 19.5 months for Nebraska (50% of cases complete within 12 months and 93% complete in 19.5 months)
They also give historical processing times of 11 months (I-485 Employment-based)

In two weeks my case will be at the 15 month mark.
It's going so slow..and makes no sense...I have an approved I-140, I have a current L1-A. People are getting RFE's whereas I provided everything up front and am not expecting any of that to slow it down.
      EB1C (approved I-140)
      Package : I-131, I-485, I-765, I-693
      02/01/21 - Day 0 - sent to Phoenix
      02/02/21 - Day 1 - Delivered - signed by F.Brown
      04/02/21 - Day 60 - NOA Received for I-485, I-131, I-765
      04/02/21 - Day 60 - Transfer to Nebraska
      06/29/21 - Day 147 - Fingerprints Taken
      10/01/21 - Day 242 - EAD/AP Combo Card in hand
      07/07/22 - Day 521 - Transfer to Missouri
      07/13/22 - Day 527 - RFE for new I-693
      08/03/22 - Day 548 - New I-693 sent
08/22/22 - Day 567 - New Card is being produced!!!!

Tough luck. Wish you good luck to hear some positive progress on your case soon. Cheers.

        • so the USCIS has released a new time frame tool. Previously I was outside the processing time for at least 50% of cases...now I'm outside of the processing times for 80% of cases

Looking at it in a positive perspective, you will definitely get your GC before end of this year. Stay positive.

Shiva, how are you? any updates on your case yet? I think this thread will be a living copy for the next 2 years or so. As of now, the processing time has increased by 2 years now. The earliest we can submit an SR for our I-485 is December 2024. lol.

Yeah...quite frustrating... Even more frustrating because case was transferred from NBC.

Yeah that's right. Sorry I first misread your comment. What happened to your I-140?

I'm still waiting on a decision to my RFE response. It's been a month since a response was submitted and now I see the 485 processing times at Nebraska has gone from 15 months to 32.5 months...! Slowly feeling really frustrated with my ill luck.

I'm also in the same boat - application was submitted to Nebraska, went to NBC, then a different FO sent me RFE, but RFE was only mailed 3.5 months after the date on it, so I got it after the due date. However, I sent my response still within the Covid 60 day extension. Now waiting, and somewhat feeling stressed.. I hope it all turns out fine!

Shiva/ all - my case is transferred again to NBC. Don't know when I will get to hear from them. Do you know what's the turnaround time by NBC?

3-4 weeks. If you have already submitted your medicals then you can expect to get an approval for your 485 within the next 4 weeks. All the best.

Btw, when was your I140 approved? Was it approved in Nebraska or Texas?

It was approved in Nebraska. I haven't submitted by medicals yet, let's see. It's a while sitting with this.
