Original of birth certificate (India) not available. Only copy. Good for interview?

Will a laminated copy be good for the interview AOS interview? (Marriage-based, from F-1). We lost the original. I am trying to procure a replacement but they can take up to a month, and my interview is in less than 3 weeks.

Hi,
Typically, copy of birth certificate is fine.. But, USCIS is right to ask Original at the time of Interview.. Please prepare for the Answer. If possible, try to get some copies from concern official or get notarization.
