I guess you will not be able to get the vaccine for several months, so even if you don't bring the I-693 and they do an RFE after your interview, you still will not be able to get the vaccine, correct?

I guess the only option is to complete the I-693 with that note and bring supporting evidence to your interview about that. Good luck.

Edit: as explained below by UScitizenFilingforspouse, the form needs the correct "note" from the doctor.

This is what USCIS states on the I-693 page. https://www.uscis.gov/tools/designat...n-requirements ***The physician will need to annotate on the form that the vaccine is contraindicated.*** I guess what I am trying to convey is that a loose note may not be OK. The physician has to follow the instructions and annotate accordingly on the I-693.

      Q. I am pregnant and do not wish to receive any vaccinations. Do I still have to get them to be able to obtain permanent resident status in the United States?
      A. If you are pregnant, the CDC's Technical Instructions direct the civil surgeon how to evaluate the vaccines you are able to receive during pregnancy. If the civil surgeon cannot safely administer a required vaccine, he/she will annotate the Form I-693 by marking the vaccine as contraindicated. See the CDC "Guidelines for Vaccinating Pregnant Women" page for information on pregnancy and vaccinations in general.

This is from the CDC. https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/vpd/mmr...ld-not-get-mmr

          Women of Childbearing Age

Women of childbearing age should check with their doctor to make sure they are vaccinated before they get pregnant. Women of childbearing age who are not pregnant and do not have presumptive evidence of immunity should get at least one dose of MMR vaccine.
It is safe for breastfeeding women to receive MMR vaccination. Breastfeeding does not interfere with the response to MMR vaccine, and the baby will not be affected by the vaccine through breast milk.

You may want to get the shot and wait a month before getting pregnant. ????

Did you get your antibody test for MMR? Usually if it is unknown that you had your MMR or any vaccine in the past, then you should get the antibody test done before taking vaccine. I have Kaiser insurance, and they usually do antibody test before administering vaccine, if you don't know the history. In fact, we got all our antibody tests done at Kaiser, and fortunately, we didn't need any vaccine. So, I would suggest to get the antibody test done, and if you are lucky you may not even need vaccine, and doctor can use that to do your medical exam.
