Card mailed. Can I travel ???

Card was mailed. Seems to be arriving here on friday.

If I travel back home on monday, then next week when the card arrives my wife mails it to me, will there be any issues?
I mean, the process is already approved, and the card is in usps transit. From what I've seen traveling getting out of the states is just my home country passport, so I'm good entering my country but not getting back to the us until I receive the card.

When was your biometrics done? I am waiting for my EAD.

I will not risk mailing the card internationally, I prefer to travel with the card in hand.

Are you sure is a combo card? Sometimes the EAD arrives without AP. If you get one of those then you will not be able to return to the USA, your process will be abandoned and you will need to start consular processing.
