Want to share some positive news with everyone. Looks like my I-485 has been approved and they have mailed it to us (should be getting in the next few days). Here's my timeline:

    EB2 Application submitted on 8/10
    Receipt notices received on 8/22
    Got Biometrics letter on 10/9
    Biometrics done for 10/25
    I-485 approved on 11/20
    GC mailed on 11/24

I was very presently surprised by 2 things: 1) How quickly things moved post biometrics; 2) The fact that they straight away approved the I-485 without doing the EAD/AP approval.
This is a very positive sign that things are moving very quickly & I hope everyone here gets their GC's soon too!
It's great to know. Thanks for sharing...

You are asking about what I wrote to Emma right? I asked for a live agent and then I told the agent that I have sent the response to a RFE more than 60 days ago, I want to place a service request. The agent did it for me. But the most impact for this I think it was from the senator’s office. Even though the response to the senator’s inquiry was: “Thank you for your inquiry regarding this constituent’s immigration matters. Our review indicates that these cases are pending within USCIS's current processing time. We have received the response to our Request for Evidence and it will be reviewed. Processing time information can be found on our website on the USCIS Processing Time Information page. For employment-based or family-based Forms I-485, please check processing times for the local field office. Once further action is taken, a notice will be sent to the address of record.”
I really wish you get any news soon. I know how frustrating all this process is.

I explained my situation and the fact that I needed the documents to improve our family’s income. Then someone from the office sent me a form for me to fill out, where was asked what I was trying to get from USCIS and my personal info. Find the senator of your state and I think in their main page must be a way to contact them.

I'm still stuck at 'actively reviewing your case' since late October...status changed to that 2 days after biometrics. My status for the EAD and AP is still at 'received your application'. Submitted 7/27. Sigh. By the way, my lawyer mentioned that F1 students do not need to maintain status and that this will not pose a problem in the interview; has anyone considered/done this?

Great to know. Congrats. This is super quick. Could you share some information so I can see when I could possibly receive my green card?

                          1. When was your I140 filed and approved? Which service center?
                          2. Which country are you from?

Thank you. So was your I140 approved in July, after which you submitted your 485? My I140 was filed in Jan 2021. I just hope my 485 gets picked up when my 140 gets approved.
