MY HUSBAND FILED FOR ADJUSTMENT OF STATUS FOR ME AN MY 3KIDS(STEP CHILDREN).He filed for form I-765 too for all 4 of us.
Unfortunately, we only realized one of the kids didn't receive her Social Security Card. And checking back on all the notice of documents we received from USCIS we never had anything from them regarding her form I-765.
Now we have to prove we actually did submit and paid for for all 4 applications including hers. But the problem is ,we don't have the copies of the money orders we did. WE could only find 2detached portions of the money orders.
we are disturbed as to what to do.

• Secondly,i also want to know if she can get social security number for the I-485 is approved in the future.
• Thirdly,I want to know if children under age are allowed to go for interview too. Ages ,8,6,4

Yes, the child can get an SSN once the i485 is approved. You will need to submit form SS-5 with the social security office. This is a common procedure.

It sounds to me like it will be hard to prove you submitted form i765.

I-765 for EAD and I-131 for Advance Parole are free for I-485 applicants. If you never got an I-765 receipt for one of the kids, it doesn't hurt to just file I-765 for them again now.
