  • Travel outside US - pending AOS

    Hello,

    Background details of my case:

    L1A - EB1C
    I-140 submitted December 2018
    i-140 approved September 2019
    i-485, i-131, i-765 submitted October 2020
    biometrics May 2021
    RFE for i693 June 2021
    Mailed i693 July 14th 2021
i765 status changed to card in production - July 26th

Should receive the combo card in few days.

Since it’s an EB1 priority, I was hoping that the Green card would be issued directly due to 262k green cards available this year until September 2021.

    Anyways,
I need to travel to india and my question is will the COVID19 travel ban impact me? Can I reenter US with ead-advance parole combo card?

    Many thanks!

    Hi,
PP is saying Immigrants, U.S. citizens, and lawful permanent residents (LPRs) are not subject to the proclamation. But, there is also other exceptions.
    • Travelers who are seeking to provide vital support for critical infrastructure sectors or directly linked supply chains.
So, I dont think Advance parole will come under this.. But, If you are playing vital support for your project then you can consider and try for NIE.
    Thanks
