Hi
I just received a rfe saying I need to submit a copy of my birth certificate showing my parentage. At first I was quite confused about this, since my BC has my parents' names. Then I realized that the names are not the same in BC and my I-485 forms and passport. Boy, USCIS sure has there cryptic way of expressing things. Was anybody in similar situation? I'm planning to have my parents send me a notarized affidavit from my country establishing my relationship with them with the correct names. Should this be enough to convince them.
