Starting a new thread for AOS for parents

State: MA (Local office: Lawrence, MA)

May 10, 2021: Applicant Sent to Chicago (Concurrent for parent: I-130, I-485, I-864, G-325A, I-765 and I-131).
May 11, 2021: Application delivered. (Signed for by: J.CHYBA). This is the priority date for I-485
May 30, 2011: 4 Text message with receipt numbers for I-130, I-485, I-765 and I-131
June 2, 2021: Checks cached ($1225 for I-485 and $535 for I-130).
June 4, 2021: Received NOA in mail.
July 6, 2021: Online status for I-485 changed to "RFE sent"
July 12, 2021: RFE received in mail for I-864
July 13, 2021: RFE responded via Fedex
July 14, 2021: Online Status for I-485 changed to "Response to RFE was received".

Its been 80+ days and still waiting for biometrics. I tried the EMMA live agent from uscis site yesterday and they said this is normal processing and all we have to do is wait.


Any May 2021 filers for parents received biometrics?

June 23, 2021 : Sent Application Package (I-485, I-864) (FedEx)
June 24, 2021 : Application arrived at USCIS Chicago, signed by J HARPER
July 3, 2021 : Received NOA in the mail
July 6, 2021: Received in the mail instructions to set up USCIS account access
July 26 : Biometrics completed
August 2 : Received Letter for initial interview on Sep 13

congrats paranji! That is by far the quickest I have seen so far. biometric within 2 months and GC interview within 3 months. Seems you broke all the records Did you expedite the process?
What state are you from?

I am still waiting for biometric appointment. 82+ days and counting.

Me (USC) , Mother (B2) from India, AOS submitted
I-130 filed online in April and got approved in June
7/06/2021 - package sent out via Fedex to Chicago Lock Box.
07/08/2021 - package delivered and signed by Harper.
07/25/21 Submitted medical I 693 separately
9/25/21 Biometric Appointment done
10/12/21 Received RFE for not including W2, submitted response on Nov 15
01/05/22 Second Biometric Appointment done because first one was not good enough
