  • Green card sent to wrong address and returned to USCIS. How much should I follow up

For some reason my GC was sent to an incorrect address. It took a full month for the GC to get back to USCIS by USPS. I couldn't file an e-request for some reason so I had to call and ask the agent to file an e-request. They weren't able to take a 'remail' request, just an e-request that said I haven't received the card. It has been 21 days and I haven't heard anything. I was asked to check again in 30 days but based on my previous experience I know they will just file another e-request and ask me to check again in 30 days. Is there something else I can do? Would reaching out to the congressperson's office in this case help? Should I file an SR first?

    Hi,
First taking action through USCIS portal then move on to take help from congresspersons office.
    Thanks
