  • RFE sent from NBC for Medical, then another RFE from local office asking it again?

On June 3rd 2021, I get an RFE for Medical (I-693) for my I-485 application, to be sent to the National Benefits Center.

On July 8th, I sent the Medical to NBC and wait for the results.

Finally on August 12th, I get another RFE letter, asking me for Medical one more time, this time for the local Seattle office. Is it normal for USCIS to ask for medical twice for different offices? Should I just go ahead and mail them a second copy (my doc will do it free of charge) or its faster to call them and straighten it out?

If you can get another sealed envelope for free with the same information, I would just send it. That is just me.
They already messed up and I would not want problems because I didn't respond to the RFE.
Just make sure the doctor's signature date is not more than 60 days before USCIS receives this new envelope (just in case. There are some officers that say that if the signature is more than 60 days then the form is not valid).
Nov 2018 - Package sent - EB - Texas Service Center
Day 1 - Package received at the lockbox
Day 999 - Card delivered to me - Aug 2021

Submitted a second RFE for Medical and got approved in 2 days! So if anyone is reading this post in the future, don't hesitate: send in a second copy of your medical exam ASAP!
