My beneficiary on the i-130 entered the US in 2014 and stayed for about 3 weeks. That passport is now expired and he already has a new passport with a different number. Because the form asks if the beneficiary has EVER entered the US (Yes) and immediately asks for a passport number, we are not sure which passport number to put. If we put the new one, they would not be able to find his entry record. If we put the old one, it looks like he has an expired passport and we would probably need to file an amendment later? Any advice on how to do this to avoid delays would be appreciated.
