I got my EAD I want to take a break from work and travel around a little bit. I am on a H1B and I understand that if I don't find a job in 2 months I will lose my H1B status. I was wondering do I need to maintain my H1B status? When I get the call for the green card interview then I have 90 + (60 days) to respond. At that point of time I can find a suitable job and then go with that offer to the green card interview? Will there be any issues with this since legally I am in status and don't have to work or need an H1B to maintain status till my GC has been decided?
