I was married and filled 2016 but the case got denied because I didn’t know the date for my second interview popularly known as stokes so I didn’t show up and case denied based on neglecting. I got divorced and remarried a usc not the same I divorced another one. Fast forward
I refilled in 2020 and got my appointment august 31 2021. Interview took just 7mins and the officer said it’s approved but I had a red flag for not coming to the stokes interview back in 2017. I explained what happened and she told me to write an affidavit explaining what happened in a paper so they can add it to my file. And said if my story timeline is correct they’ll give me the gc because my current interview was approved. I don’t actually remember all this timeline but some, however, is anyone here with the situation and is there any advice please it will be useful…thanks

I think you are in good side. Since they approved your AOS and just asking for explanation about your previous case issue, you will need to give much emphasis on that and provide affidavit. Please open your previous file and provide accurate Answer. It will help you to prevent your current case file.
