    Hi,

    My happiness of getting GC is lost the same day.
    The tracking number shared by USCIS shows the card is delivered to the mailbox but the card was never delivered to the mail box.

    I tried to call USCIS/visited local post office spoke with frds in the community to check if the package has been misplaced but none had a +ve response.

    When I called again USCIS they asked me to submit I-90 form which is for GC replacement and need to pay again the fee (around $450) and the current wait time is 16 months.
    They will not be able to expedite the process it seems.

    Any suggestions help would be greatly appreciated.

    Do you have USPS Informed Delivery? Did it show on your daily report?
    Do you have a lawyer? They may have received the GC.
    I hope it was just a system error and you get your GC tomorrow. Good luck.

      I have had situations where its marked delivered and I receive it next day! if you know what time your mail person comes around wait for them and ask them ? I have also had neighbors mail thrown in my mail box so may be they will remember at least seeing or not seeing the package? Keep pressing USPS . Good Luck!

        12/01/21 - EAD/AP renewed

          Thank you all for your suggestions.. finally got it.
          It was held up in a HOLD section and was retrived by an employee after making 5 rounds to the postal office.

          Lesssons learnt:
          1) Never change address when your case is in progress, if you HAVE TO change make sure AR-11 form is approved and address is updated in USCIS form, submit multiple forms if required (the turn around time is 1 month after submission of AR-11 form)
          2) Call multiple times USCIS to ensure address is updated correctly, DO NOT trust on chat .. they do not have accurate information
          3) Keep visiting the dispatch office (not regular office) from where mails are dispatched every area will have one.. find out and visit them
          4) Make multiple visits - I had been 5 times meet 5 different employees only one took seriously and found the package.. so keep visiting until you find that one employee who is willing to search and take your case seriously

          Hope no one has to go thru the experience I had been....
