AOS initial interview

Is it normal to get the letter of notice for initial interview for AOS before EAD card?
The adjustment of status is based on marriage to US citizen. I got the notice for the interview for october but is yet to recieve the EAD. I filed all forms concurrently.

I also received my GC interview date scheduled for late October. I haven't received my EAD yet either
