I-693 Medical RFE from Local Field Office

I received Medical I-693 RFE on 09/07/2021 on my I-485 AOS application and we responded to the RFE by submitting the sealed envelope with I-693 on 09/21/2021. But my online case status still continues to say "Case Was Updated To Show Fingerprints Were Taken". That has been the status since fingerprinting was done back in April 2021. The online status says nothing about RFE. Is that normal? I expected my online case status to say something about there being a RFE on my application, but it doesn't. Also how long would it take USCIS to adjudicate my case now that they have received my RFE response with the completed and sealed I-693? Should I expect that my I-485 would be adjudicated by end of Fiscal year 09/30/2021 or is that too ambitious? Philadelphia is my field office and I am an Indian national in EB3 category.

Usually, if you get an RFE then the online status changes, but not always. It seems like if a Service Center sends the RFE almost always the case is updated, from local offices not so much. Are you checking both sites for updates? https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/displayLogon.do and https://myaccount.uscis.gov/ sometimes one updates but not the other.

No way to know, for some cases they are trying to do most of EB they can so the waste in GC is less. I hope you get approved this month.

With USCIS is better to not expect something, many times the expectation is not met. Good luck.
