  • EB1C AOS Status Updates for cases filed in 2021

My application filed at Texas Service Center.

    EB1C - Filed I-140, I-485, I-765, I-131 same time.

Case received by USCIS on 14th July.

Awaiting for biometric appointment. Does any one with same EB1C category received any updates? Please share your experience here if you are also filed in year 2021 in same category EB1C

They EAD and GC processing can happen in parallel.

There hasn't been clear trend for biometrics appointments. Some have been receiving the biometrics appointment within a few weeks after filing while I've seen many cases who had to wait for months together before getting biometrics appointment. So hit or miss. After the biometrics appointment is done, it might about 8-20 weeks wait before you can get your EAD. Again this huge range still tell you that it is again fairly unpredictable.

For EB1C, unfortunately the I140 can't be premium processed. The current processing times for I140 for Texas service center can be about 12 months on an average. Your I485 won't be picked up for processing until your I140 is approved.

My guess would be that you can expect your EAD anywhere between 6 months to 1 year from your filing date.

Assuming EB1 continues to remain current, you can expect to get your GC by end of 2022 or early 2023.

Please note this is just my opinion. I might be wrong and it could get it sooner or later. All the best.
Also I'd suggest you look for updates in the threads created for individual months. You would be able to see how the cases filed in the different months are being progressed.
