Here's my status and time line:

H1b to GC (marriage to US Citizen)

9/07: Submitted I-130 and I130A online
09/14: Received NOA for I-130 in mail
9/24: Mailed I-485, I-864, I-765
9/27: Delivered to USCIS Chicago and signed by Chyba
09/29: Text messages for application
10/7: (2) NOA's for I-485 and I-765 received in mail

Concurrent filing - marriage to permanent resident (F-2A) / New York.
09/28/2021 - Mailed application
09/28/2021 - Priority Date
10/02/2021 - NOAs sent
10/08/2021 - Biometrics Appointment was Scheduled (online status)

Very happy biometrics came so quickly! Anybody knows how long the EAD takes after bio?

Hey guys. I just started my process and I would like to share my experience.

B2 Visa / Married to USC for 2 years and 3 months.
Bronx, NY

Did medical before submitted so that went along with my package as well.

09/16/2021 ----- I-485, I-130, I-131, I-765 applications were mailed out.
09/20/2021 ----- NOA receipt notices were sent.
09/20/2021 ----- USA Embassy in Jamaica revoked my current visa via email.
09/22/2021 ----- NOA receipt received.
09/25/2021 ----- Biometrics appointment was scheduled.
10/22/2021 ----- Biometrics appointment.


I am currently waiting to do my biometrics.

I was just as surprised by how fast my biometrics appointment was scheduled. Best of luck to everyone!

I received my biometrics notice on Oct 16th (online). Appointment is on 11/09.

Equally surprised at how fast the appointment notice came for us here (especially comparing similar threads from last year). Hoping the rest of the process goes equally quickly. On a side note - is it normal to revoke B2 visas once they receive your AOS application?

10/18/21-Lawyer received biometrics appointment for 11/04/21 in NYC ASC
Found out that USCIS input wrong address. They input my lawyer's address instead of mine.
Decided to just fly to NYC to take biometrics to avoid delay in rescheduling

Heyy. That is pretty fast as well. I was comparing my progress with another family member who is also in a similar situation. She got her EAD card exactly 3 months after doing her fingerprints. So how I do pace myself is I check my account on USCIS on whatever day my fingerprint was for the next 3 months. So in my case it was the 22nd, so I been and will be checking on Nov 22nd, Dec 22nd and Jan 22nd. Just to keep my anxiety under control

It is normal for them to revoke your B-2 visa. It happened to me as well and I was just as confused. My lawyer said it happened because now you have an application pending for permanent residence and because that process has started in due time you would no longer need “permission” from your home country to get access to travel to US so visa gets canceled out as the US would send you a travel document alongside that EAD card if you do need to travel asap.

The timeline between biometrics and EAD is quite unpredictable but in general for most cases you can expect to receive your EAD card within 8-10 weeks after biometrics.

Just realised after typing this that it's about the time when you can expect your EAD already. Did you get one?

Nothing for me :/ still in actively being reviewed after RFE response and biometrics (Nov 10).

I filed mine in October, but my biometrics were in Nov (Nov 19) too. Currently, actively being reviewed but no RFE received.

Nope, status has been in the "active review" stage since early November with no other updates.

Nothing here. Looking at other threads it seems EADs come ~200-250 days after filing so hoping we will get them by April/May.
