I came to the U.S on a visa waiver at 12 years of age.
I Overstayed ever since,
married my husband of 4 years recently
and decided to start filling out my papers for the USCIS with an attorney
I'm very nervous and scared that I will be asked to go back at the interview
Attorneys are telling me that i'm taking a risk the interview could great and get permanent residency or i could be asked to leave the country and my husband would have to petition for me ( which i dont know how long this could take and remove the 10yr bar)
I've read online that if you come here Legally on the visa waiver which i did
and overstayed the only way to be forgiven is if you marry a u.s citizen.
Please let me know if you or anyone you know has gone thru this.
