Conditional or Permanent Green Card?

Hi everyone. We just had my AOS interview two days ago. It went well and my application is approved.

However, I forgot to ask the officer if I’ll get a conditional or permanent green card. I’ve been married to my wife for almost 5 years.

Should I be concerned that I’ll receive a conditional green card in the mail?

If the approval is after your 2 year wedding anniversary you should get a non-conditional 10 year GC.
If you are married for less than 2 years, then you should get a conditional 2 year GC.
If you receive the wrong one, you should contact them to fix it to avoid problems in the future, either if you receive a 10 year GC when you should receive a 2 year one, or the other way.
