  • EB1C Concurrent Filing

    Hi,

I concurrently filed EB1C filing in May 2021. I finished my biometrics so far.
I have one question processing timelines. I see typical timelines for I-140 and I-1485 are around 8-14 months as of now.
So, in concurrent filing is it expected that after I-140 approval, I-485 can get approved faster than 8-14 months. Basically are there any benefits of concurrent filing apart from EAD and AP.

    Hi Member,
    Please see my response below.

Answer: Yes. First I-140 will be adjudicated then I-485 will be adjudicated.

Answer: Main advantage of filing together is to save the time. Normally you dont want to wait for I-140 Approval in order to file I-485. If you file together then both the petition will be in adjudication at minimal gap.
    Thanks
