Hi everyone - Thanks for your advice. I finished an appointment with USCIS field office for requesting an emergency AP for me, my wife and my son. My son and I were granted emergency AP while they couldn't issue one for my wife because she had left the country. The USCIS officer was considerate and said she will try to approve the EAD/AP application which was filed along with the 485. She also mentioned that I could hand over the card to my wife when I travel so she could use it to return.
Now I see that my wife's EAD/AP applications are approved and the card has been sent for printing.
Now I have a question. In case I'm not traveling due to the current scenario with Omicron, can I send the card the combo card to my wife by FEDEX with certified delivery for her to use it to return?
