Received Text indicating Action was taken on my case but no online update

  • Received Text indicating Action was taken on my case but no online update

    Hi everyone - I got 3 text messages and 3 emails from USCIS earlier this morning. The text & email both read - "We have taken an action on your case. Sign into your USCIS account". Email had the same message as well, but when I login I don't find any updates to any of my cases. Have you seen any such case and typically how long will it be before the status gets updated online.

    Btw, I have 13 open cases with USCIS currently. As the text doesn't have reference number of the case so not sure which 3 were processed.


    Any help will be appeciated.

    One time we received a text/email and it was an update in an old closed case. A glitch in the system I guess.
    Nov 2018 - Package sent - EB - Texas Service Center
    Day 1 - Package received at the lockbox
    Day 999 - Card delivered to me - Aug 2021

      Hi Member,
      Are you Employer/ registrant/ petitioner? Why I am asking is, Yesterday Nov 19, 2021 USCIS conducted third lottery selection on H1B CAP FY 2022. If they have taken action on the registrations then they would have sent email like that.

        I'm the petitioner & the applicant. The cases that I have in progress are AOS, EAD and AP. I don't see any status changes online still. The last change in these were in Sep when we completed biometrics. So confused on why I'm seeing this message now. In the past whenever I've received these messages, I've seen some update online or it had essentially been notifications for an update on my case which was visible online
