Need advice regarding missing last name. Please help!!!
I have been trying for days on multiple different platforms but couldn't get an accurate answer. I am applying GC for my parents, my mom doesn't any last name listed on her passport, her entire name is mentioned in Given name and last name is blank, her US visa and I-94 has FNU in First name and her entire name in last name. On birth certificate , it is now really broken down as first name and last name, it is just listed as Name and her entire name is there. What I have been doing is on all the forms like I-485 , I-130 and related, I am following they way it is mentioned in passport i.e. her entire name in Given name and last name blank unless it is specifically stated to write whatever is listed on I-94. Am I doing this correctly? Changing name back home is not really an option. Any advice is appreciated.

My wife has the same issue. Her first and last name is listed under Given name and her US documents carry FNU. However her Birth certificate has full name under the field- Name.
For any applications i filled for her, i m using the same way like- FNU [First name Last name]. I hope it should be ok!
I think, by now USCIS knows how to treat FNU related issues and as long as name is listed correctly and DOB is correct, they should good.
