I am starting the process for my parents green card and one of first things we have scheduled is medical examination with a civil surgeon. There is covid vaccine requirement for applicants now effective oct 2021. My parents are Covid vaccinated in India with Astrazeneca vaccine (2 doses.) US has also recognized the vaccine but it doesn’t explicitly state that vaccine on it’s i639 medical form website. Anybody has any recent experience if this vaccine would be ok ?

My guess is that the civil surgeon will fill the dates for AstraZeneca. I think they don't list it because is not one that is available in the US, but it is one allowed for visitors/immigrants.Nov 2018 - Package sent - EB - Texas Service Center
