In my original package I included Form G-1450 authorizing payment for $2,760 for the following forms: i-130 $535, i-485 $85 for Biometrics and $1140 filling fee, i-485 Supplement A $1000. The payment was processed, and acceptance letters were only issued for i-130, i-765, i-485. USCIS sent a letter for proof of evidence and requesting I submit i485 Supplement A including $1k penalty fee, which we had paid for and submitted with original package. We decided to resubmit the form along with the document backups and payment for the $1K penalty again but USCIS keeps rejecting payment.
This is the second time I apply and pay for all forms. I had previously applied and even had the interview with an immigration officer. A week after my interview the immigration officer called me and said everything was in order and only needed the $1K penalty fee for i-485 Supplement A, which I had tried to pay multiple times and the check, or the electronic payment form were returned to me with a letter stating I needed to submit a payment. After a year of sending payment and USCIS rejecting and requesting payment back and forth, I received a letter that my application had been denied. I live in North Dakota and all the lawyers I contacted to see if I could appeal said the best option was to re-apply. No, one could take my case because I live too far from any office.
Fast forward to today and the same thing is happening, USCIS is rejecting the $1K payment and requesting I pay the $1K again for i-485 Supplement A.
Note: My sibling has already been approved for Citizenship since she was married a decade ago
