International travel with pending I-485

I have a pending I-485 but I need to travel outside the US. I have a valid H1-B stamp that I can use to return. I have received the receipt for my I-485 application and it is pending final decision from USCIS.

I don't have advance parole.

Will leaving the US case my pending I-485 application to be denied?

Are you currently in H1b status?

If you are maintaining H1b status up until right before you leave the US, and return on an H1b visa, your I-485 will not be abandoned.

Does it matter that my I-131 was abandoned and I got RFE since I left the country? Will it stop my I-485 processing?

It doesn't affect your i-485 but you'll have to re-apply for the I-131 when you come back
