EB2 Adjustment of status I-485 interview in Newark NJ

Today in 07/02/2022 we had our I-485 interview under the EB2 category . After the interview I was handed letter with interview result indicating “ held for review “ . Does anyone had similiar experience on this forum and if can share his/ here experiences that would help me .

This is typical. This is also possible if your date is not current. In such a case when your date is not current, they would put your case on hold and issue GC once the date becomes current. If your date is current then you can expect to receive your approval within a couple weeks after some checks are completed. All the best.

For the benefit of everyone in this forum, can you please share an excerpt from your interview because EB interviews are not very common these days.

Hi Rohanrekhi, I know it's an old post and I hope you might have got the approval already. I am actually in similar situation and handed over the white paper with 'case held for review'. Just wondering if you can give me timelines on how long it took for the update on your status?
