Got my EAD…now WHAT?!

I recently received my EAD and SSN. I know this enables me to get work, but can I also benefit from FAFSA and other grants for college? My marriage based AOS is still pending, but I’d love to go to college but cannot afford tuition. Am I eligible to receive college grants and such (not private scholarships).

You are not eligible for federal financial aid right now, but might be able to get other types of financial aid from the college or private parties.
