HI, I have applied i140 and 485 and they have taken up the case on jan 18 2005. It is said it will take between 800 to 900 days. what is the normal timing it takes to get 485 and i140 approved.

No, actually, it was not true. INS website processing time change very frequently. Just check website frequently.
My case was file to CSC at mid of 2003. Initially, it promise 90 to 120 days, then changed to 270 days, then changed to 660 days. But finally I got I-140 be approved after 15 months from the day I filed in.
Don’t be foolish to believe this processing times, everything was depend on INS policy itself at same time.
