I just finished my AOS initial interview. They separate my husband and I and asked us question like: when was the last time you consummated the marriage, how did you meet, where was your first and second date. Who brought up the topic of marriage.. how many brothers and sister each of you have, who have you met? What is the color of your bedroom? What paintings or on walls..what are they of?etc.. When we were done, the interviewer said everything looked good but he wouldnt tell me if I got it..he said I will find out in the mail within 3-6 weeks. He copied my passport and employment authorization letter and gave them back to me. He said he had to review the documents before he gives an approval

Has anyone had this experience and got approved notice in the mail?

Please check you case online at their website. You may already have the approval. It does not sound like an issue. Most of the times they don't tell you right there and then as they have to get their supervisor to sign off the file.

It seems some info is missing from your original post. Did they interview you separately during the first interview? If so, is there a reason why, coz it seems odd they would do that right away unless they find something fishy. Just wondering
