Certified Copy of Birth Certificate Sent w/ Application. Need Another for Interview?

I sent a certified copy of my birth certificate in my initial application package. The aos interview notice says I need to bring birth certificate. Will the one I sent be enough?

Should I request another certified copy? It would be a big hassle. My parents have the original with them in my home country. They would have to request a certified copy again with that original piece (written in foreign language, translated in English on the certified copy) then send it to me.

I called the main phone and they said I can address the issue to the interviewer to see if the one I sent is sufficient. That gave me no answer.

Personally I know that they ask for originals at the time of interview. Copies are required if you haven't sent them along the time of filing.

Oh no! I just found out from somewhere else that, for GC applicants from my country, I should have submitted a photocopy of the gov-issued certified & translated copy, instead of the certified copy itself!

Now my question is, does the IO have my complete application package with him during the interview? I am afraid that I have to ask him to find that copy and explain the situation.

They should have everything at the time of interview.
