I-485 GC arrived to applicant but not to spouse

Hi guys, our attorney says it’s normal a delay of up to 3 weeks, but we are facing more than 1month, i need to know if any of you guys faced this situation? Spouse still says: “Case was updated to show fingerprint”

There are several reports about this, it does happen. Even when the documents are sent and most of the steps were done at the same time, the last part, the approval, depends on background checks that are different in time between individuals.

There is not much to do but wait for the approval and if it delays much time create an inquiry when you are allowed to do so. Good luck and I hope they approve the GC soon.

I have seen a couple of posts that say that after more than 6 weeks the case stayed the same and the original poster never came back to enter the final wait time. I guess that in the end, they received the GC.

In our case, we all received the GC at the same time. The problem we had was with the EAD renewal, everything was at the same time until that point 2 out of 3 EADs renewals were approved in a month, and the other one took around 5 months.
