I just filled out the I 485 for my spouse who came to the US on a K-1 visa. Question 55 is a little tricky.
Have you Ever served in, been a member of, assisted in or participated in any military unit, paramilitary unit, police unit, defense unit, vigilante unit, rebel group, guerrilla group, militia, insurgent organization or any other armed group?
My spouse was a police officer and therefore we answered yes and then explained in part 14 that he only served as a police officer. I wanted to make sure that we answered this question correctly.
Anyone else have to answer yes to that question?
