Fingerprint notice for minor

Today we have received finger printing notice for my daughter whose age is 10 years. Per the instruction the finger printing is applicable for person with age between 14 and 79.

Not sure whether we should have her go through this finger printing process, since we have not paid the biometric fee.

Please advice if anyone has gone through similar situation and what should be the appropriate step.

Just do it, rather be sorry later. Most of the time, FP fees are included in the filing fee.

Thanks for the response. We are planning for walk-in as suggested by you earlier. Hope this speeds up the overall process.

We are fingerprinted for all the 10 fingers. But for our daughter it was her RH index finger only. So that's the difference, and seems to be the norm.
