I have two I-140 with the same priority dates. One is from my previous employer (consulting company) and other is from my current employer. Ex-employer filed my paperwork as future employee after I left his company. I am planning to join his company in the future. The nature of job work for the 2 companies are different. I am hoping that my priority date will be current by this year. I am planning to leave my current employer soon and join other company (attending couple of interviews). Would appreciate if you could answer the questions below.
- Wanted to understand the risks of pursuing my green card using paperwork filed as future employee(is there a chance of denial?).
- When my priority date becomes current can I start paperwork through both companies (if I am still with my current employer at that time)?
- If I pursue GC only through I-140 of my ex-employer
- Can I work through EAD for some other employer based on the job I am currently pursuing before joining ex-employer?
- Can I work through EAD for some other employer based on the job I am currently pursuing while working for ex-employer (taking 2 jobs)
