I-140 - 2 employers

I have two I-140 with the same priority dates. One is from my previous employer (consulting company) and other is from my current employer. Ex-employer filed my paperwork as future employee after I left his company. I am planning to join his company in the future. The nature of job work for the 2 companies are different. I am hoping that my priority date will be current by this year. I am planning to leave my current employer soon and join other company (attending couple of interviews). Would appreciate if you could answer the questions below.

1. Wanted to understand the risks of pursuing my green card using paperwork filed as future employee(is there a chance of denial?).
2. When my priority date becomes current can I start paperwork through both companies (if I am still with my current employer at that time)?
3. If I pursue GC only through I-140 of my ex-employer

1. Can I work through EAD for some other employer based on the job I am currently pursuing before joining ex-employer?
2. Can I work through EAD for some other employer based on the job I am currently pursuing while working for ex-employer (taking 2 jobs)
