Filling out 1-485 but no visa no#..HELP!!!

Heres the situation... I have already sent in my I-130 and it has been approved but now im filling out my I-485 application and in part 3 of that application it is asking me for a non immigrant visa number and the date visa was issued. But, I don't have my original passport with my visa no# in it anymore. I lost it a long time ago. I got a replacement passport along time ago but no visa no# is in it.... I do have a I-94 but because I lost my original passport with the visa number i can't fill out that question.... What should I do? Should I write N/A..None... Someone pleeeaassee help me!!!!!

Would they reject my application because of that... or would my I-94 be good enough.....?..... I just don't know what to think...Help!!!

Just say you can't recall. The fact that you have the I-94 makes a difference. They can look you up in their computer system, it covers MOST I-94's issued since around 1980 (mayebe some before that).

You mentioned an I-130 and are filing for adjustment so that must mean that you are filing as an Immediate Relative of a US Citizen. Right? Got any other issues?

thanks for responding... I just got married 2 months ago to a US citizen. So, rightnow we are filing my paperwork. The I-130 got approved so now im filling out the I-485 but I don't have my visa number to put on the the section of the form that it ask for nonimmigrant visa number. I know the year/place where I got the visa but I don't know the number since I lost my original passport. So I don't know whether to put N/A or None in those boxes and write a note... Please if you have any advice on this please let me know.

Also, would the I-94 be good enough since I don't have the visa?

hey, how are you? im in your same situation!! I lost my passport but i have my I94... I called immigration, but they didnt answer, so how you did it?
