Can another I-485 be filed, while the first one is pending?

Hi everyone,

I have a pending EB-1 case, and therefore a pending Adjustment of Status.
I also won the DV-Lottery last year, but that application was planned to go through a consular processing. I still have no news from that embassy, so I received the advice of filing another Adjustment of Status regarding the DV case as well, but I'm not sure if that would cancel out my pending EB-1 case? Is that a good idea?
