3 years from the date of your marriage.

I believe so. Make sure you go to the USCIS to double check my answer.

                3 rules of 3 years

First of all, you never said if you married a USC or LPR.

Assuming you married a USC, you may file a form N-400, Application for Naturalization, under INA 319(a) when the following is true for you ON THE FILING DATE:

1.) You have had your greencard for 2 years and 9 months (don't miscalculate even by one day short of this). (This is if you file pursuant to INA 334(a) which allows you to file 3 months early before you have the full three years of LPR status). (All conditional time counts from June 2008.)

2.) The spouse has been a USC for a FULL 3 years.

3.) The marital unioin aspect of the marriage has lasted a FULL 3 years AND MUST continue until you swear to the Oath at a Ceremony.

                AND you are OTHERWISE eligible:

---you have lived in the same State or USCIS Office jurisdiction for 3 months (don't scrimp on this or miscalculate by being even one day short or forget about it)

---meet physical presence requirement (been in the U.S. at least 18 out of prior 36 months or since greencard date, which ever applies to you),

---have not broken continuous residence due to long trips abroad,

                ----show good moral character,

                ----didn't get greencard by fraud

***You cannot just "put in your time" and bail out on any requirement.

At the Oath ceremony they check for any changes is any requirement that happened since the interview.

just to make sure..the GC says resident since: June 23, 08..so on March 23, 2011 it would be exactly 2yrs and 9 months since i'm a US Resident.. that means that on that exact day I can fedex the N-400 form?
