EAD approved - I-485 pending

Hey guys,

My wife's EAD card was approved last week and we got the card today. But her I-485 is still pending "Case is being actively reviewed by USCIS" since April 2022. How long does it usually take to get her green card approved? it is based on a marriage to a citizen and she is in the US.

Sorry for the late response! Not yet and still waiting. It's been 1 year since we applied both. The bio was done April 4th, 2022.

Hi, I was wondering how long it took your wife to get her EAD card after applying for it? Also did you guys applied for i-130 and i-485 concurrently? Me and my wife filled our petitions concurrently on 09/2022 and I'm still waiting for my EAD. I did my biometrics on October 24th, 2022.

So, my wife got approved for I-130 last January and we applied for I-485 along with the EAD card app in mid February. Her bio was done in early April and she got the EAD card in late September.
Since then we are waiting for the green card application to be approved. It's been 1 year exactly since we filed 485. Hope you wife gets it soon.

Is the EAD for 1 year or 2 years?
Plan on renewing the EAD 180 days before expiration. I hope the time to renew is lower now but they took more than a year some time ago.
