Hello,
I am applying for a spouse green card. My wife ( US citizen) is living with me in Poland, so we both will be changing jobs, so her current income can't be counted against the 125% minimum income. We are not able to have a joint sponsor. As I understand, I can substitute and reach the threshold by multiplying the yearly amount ($22,887) times 3 which equals to $68,661. The money is there since March '22. Once the I-130 will go thorugh, and I will be able to upload documents to CEAC, will the short amount of time of the money being in the bank a problem? I am assuming that it will definetely reach a year before the interview. Should I wait before uploading the bank statements, or do I upload them, I take the new ones to the interview?
Another question is, my wife has been in Poland for 3 years, will that interfere or raise questions? She visits her family every year, has a bank account, an investment account. Should we prepare any additional documents?
Thank you to anyone shedding any additional light on our case
