I-485 For Mother (75 yr old) Form Questions

Hi,

I have the following question for FORM I-485. This is for my mom, currently on visitor (B-2) visa and applying for her greencard.

1. What is the "Travel Document Number Used at Last Arrival" Is it the eight-digit number listed on Visitor visa?
2. If yes to question 1, "Expiration date of this passport of Travel Document" would be the visa expiration date?
3. What is the "Nonimmigrant Visa Number from this passport (if any)?
4. We have received a receipt notice for I-130. Do we put the receipt number on item "Receipt Number of Underlying Petition (if any)?
5. If the husband (my mom's husband) is deceased, would i fill out the information about him under my current spouse or prior marriage?

1. That's only if a non-passport travel document (which is rare) was used. If a passport was used (which is the normal case), this question is not applicable.
2. Passport expiration date
3. Visa number is the red number on the visa
4. Yes (and attach a copy of the receipt)
5. Prior marriage

Also a reminder, if the I-485 will be received before 12/23/2022, you need to use the current 07/15/22 edition (edition date is on the lower left of every page). But if it will be received after 12/23/2022, you need to use the preview 12/23/22 edition.
