My situation,
Just received NVC's invoice for family member's visa processing fee.
The I130 case was submitted 10 years ago when we were in Canada.
Our birth place is mainland China.
We are now in US for 4 years.
Looks we have two choice,
1. apply for I 485
2. go back to Canada for interview instead of apply I 485.
My old child is 19+ now and if I apply for I 485. Is there any risk to delay my case? I heard if the child is over 21 then he/she will not be able to obtain GC though my case.
If we go back to Canada for interview would the time frame be more predictable?
The time line is more important for us so we need to know which way is fast..
