I am staying in US from last 5 years. We(That means me and my family) applied for GC 3 years back. I got my GC approval last week and need to go to local INS office for stamping. But the problem is my family is in India. They just left from here last month. And they will not able to come ASAP because of some personnel reason. My question is can they get GC stamp in Mumbai US consulate? if no, what is the time frame they should come back here for stamping? Currently we are on Parole and it's valid till Mar 2002. If I alone get it stamp here is there any problem with their parole papers. Can they enter in US with that Payroll papers? If you could help me find out the answers for these questions that will be great.
