Hi All,
My original priority date is Oct2013 on EB2 India. When EB3 was moving forward , my employer downgraded the petition and submitted EB3 I140 and I485. I received AP and EAD. Later EB3 was retrogress and EB2 moved forward , so employer submitted a letter to USCIS to change back to EB2. My I485 case was moved to NBC for final adjudication and I was hoping to receive Green card FY2022 but things all changed and dates retrogressed now EB2 is Oct 2011.
I applied original EB2 I-140 as Senior Software Engineer and didn't change my job because I was waiting for I485 approval. Now I am not sure when EB2 India will move forward. So now I am thinking to change my job using EAD. Here is my question, If I use EAD and change jobs like the following, will it affect my I485 approval in future?
1) If I use my EAD and change job from Senior Software Engineer to Software Engineer Manager?
2)If use my EAD and change job from Senior Software Engineer to Software Technical Program Manager?
Will both of the job change scenarios come under AC-21 portability rule similar job category?
