Adding my fiance (who works in Canada) to my GC application
Hi,
I currently work in USA and my GC application is in the final stage of AOS. My priority date is Sept 2006. I recently got engaged and my fiance works in Canada on Canadian work permit. We plan to get married soon and I would like to add him to my GC application once it becomes current.
What are the chaces that his application will be rejected on the grounds of suspicious marriage since the application is expected to become current after a few months of the wedding?
Also what are his immediate options to come to the US? He can find a job in US and get a H1B - but at this moment it looks like adding him to my GC application will be faster.
