my package was sent in August 2010 and my interview was on Nov 22, 2010 in atl ga....

my hubby and i arrived around 11:00 ..we went through security and gave them our appointment letter..

we then headed to the 2nd floor..upon which we were instructed to the 3rd floor to sit and wait

there were 2 other couples there also ( both of which had their lawyers and my hubby and i did NOT have a lawyer)
After waiting for about 30 mins the an officer called my name (he was about in 50's)

when we entered his office he Swore us in and then told us to have a seat and asked for our ID's....

He then asked me and my hubby to verifiy my name, dob,ss and address...
(while marking my file with a red pen)

then he asked where we met...
after we told him ..the officer then started to tell us about his wife and how expensive the economy is now a days ( lol i know right so off topic) lol

the officer was a very nice person
he then asked then asked the yes no questions from the form i sent in about terorist and stuff..

after which he told me congratulations and gave me a letter to sign
and told me that he was gonna order my 10 year green card since my hubby and i have been married over 2yrs..

    i was so happy
    i am finally green!
he did NOT ask for my i94 or work permit..he did NOT even look at my pics......and i did NOT receive a stamp

oh yea he asked for proof of marriage and i gave him our joint acc, lease, and phone bill ....

    g luck to everyone !!
i also recieved an update when i got home that my card was ordered...

                  Not until

He will have to first become US Citizen before he could sponsor his mom
