  • i-130 Question 14

I will try to be as detailed as I can. My husband came on b1/b2 visa. He came in 1992 and has not left. The question on number 14 is date the authorize stay expiration. What date do I put? Where can I find the expiration date on his passport? There is one stamp with a date he arrive but that is all. Please help. I want to do this right.

Check the I-94 card. The expiration of stay is stamped there. Usually it last for six months after arrival.

In order for an Immediate Relative of a USC to file for adjustment, all he needs to show is a lawful entry. The passport stamp will suffice. If you are not a USC, he can't file for adjustment and it become irrelevant.
